2013

NDE was founded as Chicago Contemporary Dance Company by Erin Whitney Brown.

 

2014

Kristi Andarcia took on the role of Artistic Director and renamed the company Noumenon Dance Ensemble.

 

2015

NDE became a 501(c)(3) under the new leadership of Alia Simon Montijo.

2017

Artistic Director Alia Simon Montijo founded Dance Avondale, a dance school in partnership with the Chicago Parks District which provides dance education with is "financially accessible and culturally sensitive." NDE became the resident company of Dance Avondale.

2018

Erin Murphy was designated Artistic Director of NDE, continuing the partnership with Dance Avondale.

2019

Erin Murphy and Nina-Rose Wardanian join together as the artistic team!

2020

NDE Moves to partner with Sway Dance Chicago.
